Enea was founded in 1984 at the Valencia Fair, in the framwork of the Eredu Cooprative Society, as a new activity dedicated to the manufacture and sale of metal design furniture. From the very beginning we have worked in collaboration with designers of the hightest standing and international reown such as Joseph Llusca and Gabrie Teixido, and as a result of this teamwork products as presitgious as the Bcn, Global and Logica chairs, the Noas set of shelves and the Yes tables.

After an initial period charactersed by a heterogenous and colourful collection, we soon decided to specialise in the manufacture and sale of the concept of chair, understood in a broad context, both as a product and market-wise. Our philosophy is to create value in our products and offer it worlwide in the form of innovative, customied and industrialised design fulfiling the maximun rigour and quality requirements. Our furniture is extremely versatile, resistant, ergonomic and functional, and its applications and complements make it ideal for use both in private interiors and homes and in public spaces, offices, hotel and catering premises, auditoria, educational establishments, conference halls, airports, hospitals etc. The simplicity of lines, the comfort and functionalism of the elements are combined with a serene and personal image that captures the legacy of Functionalism and enhaces it an a decidedly contemporary fashion.

Enea uses high-technology construction and develops a thorough process of research and adaptation of materials to the various needs, subjecting the different procedures to strict quality-control systems. As s result of our concem with quality, Enea is one of the first Spanish firms in the manufacture of design, furnitureto have obtained the ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard. Futhermore, Enea had been working intensely in the field of envrionmental management for a number of years and have taken part in the Ekscan project in collaboration with IHOBE, the basque government institution for the protection of the environment. At the present, we are immersed in the process of obtaining the ISO 14000 Environmental Management Standard.
